BUIS, David C. - Putnam

David C. Buis, 52 years old, 3210 South Rural Street, died yesterday in St. Francis Hospital.  Born in Putnam County, Mr. Buis resided in Beech Grove about 31 years before moving here. Formerly a Beech Grove Traction Line Transit Company driver 20 years, he had been employed the last five years by Holcomb & Hoke Manufacturing Company. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Hansing Park Christian Church. Burial will be in New Crown Cemetery.  Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Nellie Buis; five sons, David R. Buis, Beech Grove and Richard, James C, Larry and Hugh Buis, all of Indianapolis.; three daughters, Mrs. Walter Foust, Mrs. Arthur VanSickle and Mrs. Earl Grantham, all of Indianapolis and four sisters, Mrs. Ola Finke and Mrs. Elva McCarty, both of Indianapolis and Mrs. Nora Thomas and Mrs. Will Farley, both of Martinsville. - kbz
